Matthew Comer was born and raised in Iredell County, North Carolina, the son of hardworking farmers.  His grandpa owned the local general store. 

Today, Matthew lives with his wife Jennifer, son Titus and daughter Abigail on a little farm that has been in his family for 7 generations. His workshop is in an old cabin that was once used for grain storage.
